SMS Opt-In

Program

CallSnap sends transactional SMS account notifications (new voicemail alerts) to professionals who opt in. Callers may receive a one-time transactional receipt after leaving a voicemail. This is not a marketing program.

Caller consent (verbal disclosure)

When someone calls a professional's forwarded business number, CallSnap plays a greeting that names the business, discloses that the call may be recorded, asks them to leave their name, phone number, and a brief description of their issue, and states that by leaving a message they consent to a one-time text confirming it was received (message and data rates may apply). Leaving a voicemail is the caller's consent to that one-time confirmation SMS. The confirmation text includes STOP and HELP keywords. Callers who reply STOP are opted out of further CallSnap texts to that number.

How business owners opt in (digital consent)

The user navigates to https://www.callsnap.pro, signs in, opens Dashboard → Settings → Business (https://www.callsnap.pro/dashboard/settings/business#sms-opt-in), enters their US mobile number, checks the SMS consent checkbox (unchecked by default), and clicks Save SMS alerts.

The Settings opt-in form includes a phone number field, an unchecked SMS consent checkbox, the full disclaimer below, and links to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Saving records consent and enables SMS alerts for that account. After opt-in, you receive a confirmation text that alerts are active. To pause alerts later, reply STOP to a CallSnap text; reply START to resume. The dashboard shows whether alerts are active or stopped. Users can remove their mobile number anytime in Settings.
